Russ's Uninteresting Blog of Pointless Things

What a world…What a world…

I laughed as I wrote the title of this blog…one would think that I reminisce about the Wizard of Oz, and appropriately so…being Kansas and all, however, I think of YOGURT, you know Mel Brook’s character rendition of Yoda in Space Balls…perhaps I’m dating myself, or I just have waaaaaaaaay too much movie trivia on my mind at the moment.

Anyway, Rich and I got to talking tonight, and it was amazing just how much we’ve accomplished in just under 2 years if you will here at Greenbush.

Technology, as we all know, is a constantly changing entity (yes entity)…what is hip and cool one day disappears or is outdated in a matter of months, days, or perhaps even minutes…so the following list defines just what we’ve done…and how far we’ve come.  I’m sure I’m missing something…and obviously I’m avoiding posting about some of the pitfalls and perils we’ve overcome…but gotta say…this is pretty impressive:

Now here’s the kicker…an estimated 75-85% of Greenbush staff do not know much about any of these things…why?  Cause they don’t tune in to Take2 weekly.  I’m not saying they can’t…I’m saying they don’t…and truly that’s where the power of podcasts come into play…cause they are recorded and stored audio links that can be subscribed to or listened to through the Take2 Website (take2.greenbush.us or take2podcast.podshow.com).

The point is…we can continue to cover what we’ve done…and we can continue to discover new revelations with changing technology…or we can stay stagnant. Same goes with many of our employees…we can only do and say so much, but if you don’t want to implement what we talk about and don’t want to listen, we can’t force you to…but beware fellow readers…TIME WON’T STAND STILL FOR YOU…only you can choose to do something with the knowledge we bring you. It’s pretty much guaranteed, Take2 and it’s listeners won’t be left behind.

PEACE,

R-Diggy
